An audio amplifier and an electronic apparatus and method for restricting transition noise using the same are provided. The audio amplifier includes a pre-amplifying circuit, an output stage circuit and a delay and switch circuit. The pre-amplifying circuit is enabled or disabled in response to a pre-stage control signal, where the pre-amplifying circuit generates an audio amplifying signal by amplifying an audio input signal when enabled. The output stage circuit is enabled or disabled in response to a sub-stage control signal, where the output stage circuit converts the received signal into an audio output signal when enabled. The delay and switch circuit provides the pre-stage control signal and the sub-stage control signal so that sequentially enables or disables the pre-amplifying circuit and the output stage circuit with a delay period, and determines whether to provide the audio amplifying signal to the output stage circuit based on the sub-stage control signal.
