Summary:This invention discloses a planar antenna to solve the problems of area overhead. The planar antenna comprises a baseboard, an antenna unit, a first grounding, and a second grounding. The antenna unit has a feeding portion and a radiating portion. The radiating portion connects with the feeding portion. The first grounding has a hollow portion. The hollow portion and the radiating portion are mirror symmetry along the extending direction of the feeding portion. The second grounding is opposite to the radiating portion. The antenna unit, the first grounding, and the second grounding are disposed on the same face of the baseboard. The feeding portion is disposed between the first grounding and the second grounding. Furthermore, this invention also discloses a MIMO antenna extended from the said planar antennas. Thus, the above-mentioned problem can actually be solved.
