Summary:A mounting apparatus is used to mount one or more elements to a product. The elements are placed in a cushion. The mounting apparatus includes a placing module for placing the cushions, a picking module, a mounting module, a controlling module, and a locating module. The locating module includes a base and a pair of locating members upon the base. The controlling module controls the pair of locating members moving away from each other, or moving close to each other. When the pair of locating members moves away from each other, the pair of locating members deviates from the base. The controlling module controls the picking module to move the cushion from the placing module to the base. When the pair of locating members moves close to each other, the cushion is sandwiched between the pair of locating members and the base. The controlling module controls the mounting module to take at least one element from the cushion and mount the at least one element on the product.
