Summary:The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a solar cell comprising the following steps. A semiconductor substrate having an anti-reflective layer is provided. A metal electrode material is formed on the anti-reflective layer to form a first electrode pattern. The first electrode pattern is sintered. After the first electrode pattern is sintered, an oxide layer formed from the surface of the metal electrode material is removed. An electro-plating layer is formed on the metal electrode material without the oxide layer to form a front electrode on the solar cell.
