Summary:A display device includes a first electrode layer electrically connected to a second electrode layer, and a display layer formed between the first and second electrode layers, the display layer including a plurality of magnetic particles and nonmagnetic particles. At least one particle type of the magnetic particles and the nonmagnetic particles is electrically modified to enable movement of said particle type within the display layer in response to an electric field applied between the first and second electrode layers.
