The present invention relates to an exercise device for promotion of lower extremity physical fitness by adjustment of hydraulic resistance and reciprocal rotation of cams, comprising a support, two transmission units, a lower extremity swing unit and hydraulic resistance units having hydraulic cylinders. The support includes posts for connection with the lower extremity swing unit having a rocking lever. The rocking lever is assembled with the cams of the transmission units having pistons and piston rods, and the cams are further linked to the pistons located in the hydraulic cylinders of the hydraulic resistance units via the piston rods. The hydraulic cylinders are connected to reflux pipes, on which a check valve and a flow control valve are provided for control of flow directions and quantity inside the hydraulic cylinders.
