Summary:The present disclosure relates to a liquid crystal display device and a display device. The display device includes a transmitting interface, a display panel, a timing controller, a driver, and a line memory. The transmitting interface receives and transmits image data. The display panel includes a plurality of pixel units arranged in a matrix array. The timing controller generates image signals with corresponding gray scales based on the image data from the transmitting interface. The driver receives the image signals, and drives the pixel units to display images based on the image signals. The line memory is connected between the transmitting interface and the timing controller. The line memory receives and stores the image data from the transmitting interface, and outputs the image data to the timing controller when the timing controller reads the image data from the line memory.
