Summary:A parking assistance system adapted to be installed in a vehicle so as to guide a driver to park is provided. The parking assistance system assists the driver to drive the vehicle from a lane into a parking space along another lane where a first object and a second object are respectively located on two sides of the parking space. The parking assistance system comprises a detection module, a planning module, a correction module and a guide module. The design of returning a driving right to the driver of the present invention can improve security, and the correction module useful for correcting parking position errors caused by the operation of a driver is user-friendly and easy-to-use, thereby facilitating the parking operations of the driver.
