Summary:The present invention provides a method of expanding display resolution adjustment range and its control device, wherein the control device includes a microcontroller and a memory unit connected to the microcontroller. The memory unit is built with the signal resolution data to be expanded. When a resolution adjustment signal is inputted to the control device, the microcontroller finds out the resolution data stored in the memory unit and accordingly adjusts the resolution of a display. With the above method, it is able to expand the resolution adjustment range in a display beyond the original resolution defaults in order to display an excellent signal frame.
