Summary: | The present invention provides a semiconductor bio-nanowire device comprising a substrate with a first surface, a first conductor, a second conductor and a bio-nanowire. The first conductor and the second conductor are separately disposed on the first surface of the substrate. The two ends of the bio-nanowire are connected to the first conductor and the second conductor, respectively. The bio-nanowire is mainly made from nucleic acids and includes a plurality of metal ions chelated with the nucleic acids. A non-linear electro-conductive characteristic of the bio-nanowire is controlled by applying an electric signal to the bio-nanowire to change the redox state of the metal ions of the bio-nanowire. |
