Summary: | A diagnostic method for a gas separating system is provided. The gas separating system comprises a low pressure distillation tower. The diagnostic method comprises the steps of: (A) obtaining a temperature inside the low pressure distillation tower; (B) calculating a temperature change rate of the low pressure distillation tower; and (C) increasing the temperature of the low pressure distillation tower if the temperature of the low pressure distillation tower continues to decrease and the temperature change rate of the low pressure distillation tower is greater than 0.01℃/min. A nitrogen concentration inside the low pressure distillation tower can be derived from the temperature change rate of the low pressure distillation tower. Moreover, the temperature of the low pressure distillation tower is increased if the temperature of the low pressure distillation tower continues to decrease and the temperature change rate of the low pressure distillation tower is greater than 0.01℃/min, thus to avoid nitrogen block |
