Summary:A system for identifying a human face includes a visible light camera, an infrared (IR) camera, a contactless temperature sensing device and a processor. The visible light camera and the IR camera respectively photograph at least one visible-light picture and at least one IR picture in a same photograph zone. The contactless temperature sensing device senses a present target temperature from a temperature sensing zone. The temperature sensing zone is in the photograph zone. The processing unit detect if a human face is existed in the visible-light picture and the IR picture. When a human face is existed in the visible-light picture and the IR picture, the processing unit determines if the present target temperature is in a human body temperature range to determine if the detected human face is an alive human face.
