Summary:The present invention relates to a discharge type battery management system and a method thereof, wherein a monitoring unit is used to monitor a plurality of battery cells, when the electrical potential, current and temperature of the battery cells change, a control unit is used to control a plurality of isolated energy storage units, so as to charge the battery pack while discharging at least one battery cell having a relatively high potential in order to balance the overall potential of the battery pack and increase the apparatus energy conversion efficiency.
