Summary:A plug for water plumbing of the present invention includes a cylindrical plug body with one end closed, and a screw part that is provided protruding from a closed one-end face of the plug body and inserted to be screwed into a socket-side screw part. The outer diameter of the plug body is larger than that of the screw part. On a one-end face of the plug body formed as an annular part around the base of the screw part on the plug body, a through hole piercing the cylindrical plug body from the one-end face is formed. The plug has a packing disposed so as to face the annular one-end face of the plug body and formed by an elastic member having an annular shape and predetermined thickness. Around the one-end face of the plug body, a cylindrical packing supporting part that covers the periphery of the packing disposed so as to face the one-end face of the plug body is provided.
