Summary: | A synthesis method for preparing lithium ion battery composite cathode material having olivine lattice defect structure using rheological phase method employs the rheological phase method and uses different kinds of organic substance and acids as carbon source and chelating agents and takes different kinds of metals as a dopant; forming a carbon network layer on the powder surface of the embedded cathode material after performing pyrolysis of the carbon source and the chelating agent under high temperature and homogeneous phase reaction, and forming complex ions through the chelating agent and the metal ions to achieve the homogeneous phase chelating reaction; and meanwhile doping the metal ions into the powder of the embedded cathode material and applying powder particle diameter screening technique on the product so as to synthesize the Li.sub.xM.sub.yN.sub.zXO.sub.4/C(x:y:z ≠ 1:1:1) composite cathode material having olivine lattice defect structure.
