The present invention provides a transparent polyimide siloxane with the chemical structure of formula (I). The present invention also provides a method of manufacturing transparent polyimide siloxane, comprising: (A) providing a polyimide solution containing linear aliphatic flexible chain as the side chain; (B) adding the aminotrialkoxysilane into the polyimide solution of step (A); and (C) adding into the solution obtained from step (B) the trialkoxysilane with a double-bond functional group or a mixture of trialkoxysilane with double-bond functional group and the trialkoxysilane without the double-bond functional group. The present invention also provides a thin film of transparent polyimide siloxane which is characterized in that the thin film precursor solution contains the polyimide siloxane polymer with a chemical structure of formula (I). The present invention can be applied to a flexible LCD, a soft OLED, a plastic solar cell, an optical waveguide, an orientation film and a display insulation layer.
