Summary:An energy-saving device of elevator is disclosed. The elevator further comprises a traction motor and a motor driver. The motor driver is used to convert the kinetic energy of the traction motor at deceleration into the electrical energy, and the electrical energy is delivered to the energy-saving device through the direct current (DC) link of the motor driver. The energy-saving device includes a dual-port electric-power conversion circuit and an energy-saving controller, wherein the dual-port electric-power conversion circuit contains a DC port and an alternating current (AC) port.
