Summary:Disclosed is a network telephone authentication system and the method thereof, comprising a speaking end, a voice authentication server and a multimedia communication server, wherein the voice authentication server receives a commend packet sent from the speaking end, analyzes data to be authenticated and according to the result of analysis, transmits a commend packet to the multimedia communication server, thereby providing an authentication mechanism for voice communications that has better control over the speaking end with greater flexibility and also reduces costs.
