The invention provides a fabric tape for slide fasteners having an element-attaching part (A) and a main tape part (B), wherein the warp (101) of the thread configuring the main tape part (B) has a fiber size of 30-100 dTex and a weave density of 100-220 threads/inch (2.54 cm) and the weft (102) has a fiber size of 60-180 dTex and a weave density of 30-80 threads/inch (2.54 cm), and the proportion of warp (101) threads configuring the plain weave texture with respect to the total number of warp (101) threads in the main tape part (B) is 40% or more. This fabric tape for slide fasteners is able to combine advantages of lightness and strength.
