The present invention provides a coin-type ticket identification system, which has an identification circuit for forming a short-circuit effect when a conductor enters therein, so as to proceed with an identification process to identify whether the inserted ticket is real or not. The coin-type ticket identification system includes a transmission module for guiding the coin-type ticket into the system; a sensing module disposed in a ticket identification area for proceeding with the identification process and executing a data sensing procedure to sense inner information of the coin-type ticket when the coin-type ticket is determined to be real; a data processing module electrically coupled to the sensing module for receiving the inner information read by the data sensing procedure so as to determine whether to allow the ticket to pass or not; and a driving module disposed in the ticket identification area and electrically coupled to the data processing module for receiving commands from the data processing mod
