The method includes: scaling, by a receiving device, a phase vector based on a predetermined scaling factor to determine a first lattice point; determining, by the receiving device, a second lattice point based on the determined first lattice point; and determining, by the receiving device, a quantized phase vector based on the determined second lattice point and the predetermined scaling factor.
