The present invention provides a wrapped-type hinge, which includes a spindle consisting of a first shaft section and a second shaft section, a first sheath sheet covering the first shaft section, and a second sheath sheet covering the second shaft section. The second shaft section of spindle is formed with a cut face, and the second sheath sheet is formed with a flat face. The width of flat face is smaller than the width of cut face so that the flat face will not contact with the cut face. Through the first sheath sheet, the hinge has a feature of light in opening and heavy in closing. When a monitor opens, the flat face of second sheath sheet rotates within the range of cut face of second shaft section and has a smaller torque. When the monitor opens to the rear side, the flat face of second sheath sheet contacts the curve face of second shaft section and produces an increased amount of interference, thereby increasing the torque.
