Summary:An LED driving device includes a half-bridge switch circuit, a resonant filtering circuit, an LED circuit, a detecting circuit, and a control circuit. The half-bridge switch circuit receives a DC input voltage, and converts the input voltage into a square-waved conversion voltage based on two control signals that are complementary and have the same operating frequency. The resonant filtering circuit filters out harmonics of the converted voltage to generate a sinusoidal AC output current. The LED circuit rectifies the output current to output a pulsating DC rectified current. The detecting circuit detects a magnitude of the rectified current to provide a detection signal. The control circuit adjusts currents flowing through LEDs based on the average of the detection signal in two pulsation periods to prevent LEDs from over current and thus burning out.
