Summary:Disclosed is a multilayer insulated wire having a conductor and at least three extruded insulation layers which cover the conductor, wherein the outermost layer (A) of the insulation layers is composed of an extruded covering layer of a polyamide resin and has a thickness of not more than 25 [mu]m, and an inner layer (B) of the insulation layers is composed of an extruded covering layer containing a crystalline resin having a melting point of not less than 225 DEG C and a noncrystalline resin having a glass-transition temperature of not less than 200 DEG C.
