A device for detecting glass breakage of a vehicle window is provided. Electrically conductive terminals 43, 44 having cylindrical portions 43d, 44d are connected with electrical wires 61, 62 of harness. Cylindrical helical spring electrodes 45, 46 are arranged under a compressed state between the electrically conductive terminals 43, 44 and electrodes 33, 34 of a conductor pattern. First ends of the electrodes 45, 46 are positioned outside the cylindrical portions 43d, 44d of the electrically conductive terminals 43, 44 and helically contacted with circumferences of the cylindrical portions 43d, 44d of the electrically conductive terminals 43, 44 while portions protruding from the cylindrical portions 43d, 44d of the electrically conductive terminals 43, 44 at a second end side of the electrodes 45, 46 are spirally contacted with the electrodes 33, 34 of the conductor pattern 32. Thereby, the electrodes arranged on a glass panel can be easily and surely taken out.
