A cleaning device for heat exchanger is disclosed, which comprises a main controller, a y-shaped ball screening device and a proper amount of soft cotton balls for cleaning. The exterior of main controller has four flange connectors, the interior thereof has a ball-storing chamber in which a mesh board is provided for defining an upper space and a lower space. The top and bottom of the left side of the upper space respectively has a branch pipe in which the top branch pipe has a first check valve, the bottom branch pipe has a three-way valve; a bypass pipe of the three-way valve is connected to an outlet of the first check valve; the right side of the upper space has a branch pipe installed with a second check valve; the lower space of the ball-storing chamber has a branch pipe containing a normally-open two-way valve.
