The present invention provides a packaging material, which shows excellent compatibility with the package of rice balls, sandwiches, etc. It is transparent, has good appearance, and is made of polypropylene series thin film generating little odor. In particular, the tearing direction along the resin extrusion direction in the production of the thin film shows high linearity in the heated environment, and it has excellent low tearing strength characteristic. The packaging material of this invention contains at least two-layered non-extension films including a base layer and a surface layer, and meets the following (1) to (3) requirements of polypropylene series thin film: (1) the base layer containing 99 to 99.97 mass% of propylene single polymer with melting point above 162 Deg C, 0.03 to 1 mass% of phosphate metal salt acting as organic crystal nucleating agent, and with thickness more than 10 m; (2) the surface layer containing propylene- olefin copolymer with melting point below 155 Deg C, and with thickne
