Summary:A ball able to emit light includes: a hollow-shaped inner container, a covering unit, and a controller. The covering unit includes at least one covering body covering the outer surface of the inner container. The covering body has a translucent outer layer spaced apart from the inner container, and a display layer affixed to the outer layer and located between the outer layer and the inner container. The display layer has a light-emitting display screen affixed to the outer layer, a receiver electrically connected with the display screen, and a first power supply for supplying power to the display screen and the receiver. The controller is electrically connected with the receiver of the display layer. By using the controller to sense the changes in ball speed and send the speed signal to the receiver of the display layer, a light color is correspondingly displayed on the display screen to enhance entertainment effect during ball games.
