Summary:Disclosed is a method for evaluating the safety of class-1 piping in a nuclear power plant. The method includes the step of determining the piping, the step of analyzing the serving case of the piping, and the step of evaluating. The evaluation is based on the thickness and material of the piping, and the direction of cracks, base material and weld areas. After the step of determining, the loading conditions are analyzed in at least eight analyzing modes. After the step of analyzing, the step of evaluating is conducted in two determining modes corresponding to the analyzing modes. Thus, the analyzing conditions are screened so that while the security is ensured, the evaluation can be expedited and simplified for economic purposes.
