Summary: | This invention associates the method of hydrogen generation based on sodium borohydride. The catalyst used is a CoBx catalyst, x is the molar ratio of B to Co, x is in the range of 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.5. It is prepared using cobalt salt, boron-containing materials is used as the reducing agent. This catalyst has a diameter in the nanosize range, the diameter is less than 100 nm and higher than 5nm. It is amorphous. The specific surface area is greater than 5 m2/g. The hydrogen generation reaction is carried out in a reactor. The reaction temperature is controlled between 25 and 50 DEG C. Sodium borohydride solution and sodium hydroxide solution are injected into the reactor. Sodium hydroxide solution acts as a stabilizer and the weight percentage is between 3 and 25%. The pH value is between 11 and 13. The hydrogen volume is measured by water displacement method. |
