Summary:The present invention relates to a voltage balance controlling system for a half-bridge structure converter and the controlling method thereof, which is primarily applied in the electric and electronic fields, as an AC/DC converter for a half-bridge type structure, a power factor corrector, AC voltage regulator, uninterruptible system and so on. It comprises a phase-changing inductor in parallel with two power switches and two DC capacitors, so the DC voltages can be controlled by the DC voltage circuit and the alternate currents can be controlled by the AC circuit, while the utility phase can be further captured to proceed with a zero starting so as to allow the currents are in phase with the utility for purpose of power factor correction. Still, a compensation controller is added into the AC circuit to compensate the voltage difference between two capacitors. Accordingly, the effect of voltage balance can be achieved and the practicable value thereof can be increased substantially as well.
