Summary: | The present invention generally relates to a power sourcing equipment adapted to connect to an outdoor wireless communication equipment through a network cable. The power sourcing equipment includes a data input port, a power over Ethernet control module, a network port, a decoder circuit and a signal strength indicator unit. The power over Ethernet control module is for obtaining a data signal from the data input port and generating a corresponding power-carrying data signal. The network port is for transferring the power-carrying data signal to a main board of the wireless communication equipment and receiving a signal provided by at least one control line and a ground line of the main board. The decoder circuit is coupled to the network port and for generating a signal strength indicator signal according to the signal provided by the at least one control line and the ground line.
