Summary:This invention relates to the use of Dunaliella in the production and preparation of pharmaceuticals for curing liver diseases and a pharmaceutical composition containing Dunaliella extract for curing liver diseases. In addition, this invention also relates to a composition comprising dried Dunaliella powder, which can be used to improve liver function and increase the anti-oxidation activity of the liver. By evaluating the effect of Dunaliella in alleviating liver damage caused by carbon tetrachloride, this invention proves that Dunaliella can substantially cure the liver damage caused by liver disease.
