Summary:A colouring composition which is used for the process of manufacturing color filter comprising the following steps: a step of using colouring composition for forming coloured coating film in the substrate; a step of irradiating laser of wave of 340 to 380 nm in the area forming filter segment or black matrix of the said coloured coating film to cure the said area; and a step of removing the uncured area of the said coloured coating film to form the filter segment or black matrix. The said colouring composition comprises pigment, transparency resin, monomer having ethylenically unsaturated double bond and photo-polymerization initiator; and the ratio (M/P) of the weight (M) of the monomer having ethylenically unsaturated double bond to the weight of the said transparency resin (P) is ranging from more than 0.12 and less than 1.35.
