Summary:A method of color compensation for image signals and the associated device. The device contains an image signal input interface, an image signal output interface, a control unit, and a digital logic circuit module. The image signal input interface is a source for receiving image signals, which are transmitted to the digital logic circuit module equipped with functions of color compensation of local or total dis-uniformity and are then outputted to a predetermined image-displaying device through the image signal output interface. This method of color compensation for image signals and the related device can be used to the local compensation of the image-displaying device; however the conventional method of total uniform compensation transformation of a display device is not utilized.
