Summary: | An illuminating apparatus includes a light source capable of emitting UV-containing light. The light source contains overlapped UV-B with a wavelength component ranged between substantially 280 to 340 nm and UV-C with a wavelength component range of substantially 100 to 280 nm while cutting off the wavelength component under substantially 255 nm therefrom for illuminating a plant. By way of illuminating the plant with such UV-C and UV-B, the production of fungi spores and the growth of hypha resulting in the disease can be well suppressed, and the disease-resistance of the plant can also be well induced. |
