Summary:The present invention provides an OTG device for multi-directional transmitting GPS data and a controlling method of the same. The OTG device is capable of automatically switching either a master or slave settings, based on what type of the other external device connected thereto is, and thereby prevents a conflict between the OTG device and the other external-connected device. Therefore, the GPS data received by the GPS module can be easily transmitted to the other external-connected device. Furthermore, the OTG device and controlling method can be applied in a multimedia device to achieve a GPS function and capabilities of multi-directional transmitting GPS data and image data.
