Summary:This invention relates to an apparatus for preventing the inertia force of a garbage can cover which utilizes the buffering end of a cushion to act against the pressing part of the cover so that the uplifted cover released by the flexible device, when in contact with the buffering device, can keep moving upward slowly due to the pressing force acted on the buffering end by the pressing part because the resilience of the flexible device is larger than the damping of the buffering device. Accordingly, the inertia force caused by the quick uplifting of the garbage can cover can be prevented, consequently preventing the sound and bumping caused thereby.
