Summary:A document camera includes a host, an arm, a camera and an auto power saving module. One end of the arm is pivotally connected to the host, and the camera is pivotally connected to the other end of the arm for collecting the image of an object. The auto power saving module is configured in the host and includes a power saving detector and a power saving unit. The detector is used for detecting an exterior environment of the document camera, and the detector generates a power saving signal when the exterior environment does not been changed in a predetermined time. The power saving unit is electrically connected to the detector, and the power saving unit lets the document camera into a power saving mode when the power saving signal is received by the power saving unit.
