Summary:A control method of an image monitoring apparatus comprises the following steps: (A) determining whether a moving object enters the shooting picture; (B) if a moving object enters the shooting picture, generating a control command according to the moving path of the moving object to control a motor driving unit to drive an image capturing unit to wobble so that the image capturing unit can aim at the moving object for shooting and move the image of the moving object to a predetermined position on the shooting picture; and (C) according to the distance between the moving object and the image monitoring apparatus, controlling the zoom ratio of a lens unit to allow the lens unit to automatically adjust its zoom ratio following the moving object moving closer to or away from the image monitoring apparatus.
