This invention relates to a method for content risk management of multiple communication ports and knowledge application and system therefor, by bridging a data content management module between a network equipment and a firewall, to allow precaution of risk caused by the content of the data streams delivered by the network equipment, and to allow application and management of the content knowledge. The data streams delivered by the network equipment are first backed up and stored in corresponding databases according to the predefined content attributes. Predetermined samples, linguistic and behavior characteristics are then used as conditions to examine and compare the data streams in each of the databases so as to define a risk index for each of the data streams. A decision of either intercepting the data streams or allowing the data streams to pass is then made according to the value of the risk index.
