Summary:The present invention relates to a rubbish bin with a sliding lid, comprising: a bin, a lid, and two slide tracks; the bin has a opening on which two parallel arranged connection parts are formed; the lid is slidingly disposed at the opening of the bin and has a assembly part disposed correspondingly to the two connection parts respectively, the two assembly parts being arranged in a parallel manner and slidingly disposed on the connection parts; slide tracks are disposed between the connection parts and the assembly parts, the slide tracks providing a good sliding effect between the bin and the lid; the slide tracks further comprises a slide base installed at the external part of the connection part of the bin and a slide rail installed at the inner side of the assembly part of the lid, the slide rail being sleeved outside the slide base for producing relative linear motion effect.
