This invention discloses the application solar cell on digital camera device. The digital camera device comprises a master circuit unit, a slave circuit unit, a battery module, a switch circuit, a solar cell module. The digital camera device has two power supplies. One is the main switch power supply another is the backup switch power supply. The backup switch power supply can be a solar cell module, and the backup switch power supply is made up of the ambient light. When the working current of the main switch power supply is enough, the solar cell module will provide a charge current to the flashlight circuit of the digital camera device. If the working current of the main switch power supply is not enough, the solar cell module will provide a working current to the master circuit of the digital camera device. According to the battery module of the digital camera device can not provide any working current that the digital camera device is still working for low power function.
