Summary: | The present invention concerns a device for sterilising objects (19), medical or surgical instruments in particular, of the type in which a gas flow circulating in an enclosure in which a vacuum of industrial standard is set up, is subjected to the action of an electric field so as to create a gas plasma whose resulting post-discharge flow enters a sterilisation chamber where it is contacted with the surface of the objects to be treated. This device is characterized in that the gas flow consists of a mixture of nitrogen and a quantity of hydrogen of less than 5%. It comprises means for heating said objects, able to bring the temperature thereof during treatment to at least 60 DEG C. The present invention also concerns a method for implementing this device. |
