Summary:The present invention relates to a plasma display panel and its driving method. For a plasma panel with multiple pairs of electrodes, where each pair is consisted of a scan electrode and a sustain electrode, a direction from the scan electrode to the sustain electrode is deemed as the electron flow direction. An order that scanning signals are applied to the scan electrodes is deemed as the scan direction. The scan direction is purposely kept as the same as the electron flow direction. The scanning signals can be applied to odd and even scan electrodes in two respective stages, or sequentially to all scan electrodes one by one. According to the driving method, the possibility that these electrodes can successfully be addressed as well as the display quality of the panel are both improved.
