Summary:A diffused polarized photon pair density wave (DPPDW) which is produced by correlated two-frequency circular polarized light waves in a multiple scattering medium is proposed. In order to measure the reduced scattering coefficient and the absorption coefficient of the multiple scattering medium, the phase and amplitude of DPPDW are measured. The object in the multiple scattering medium is imaged in terms of the spatial distribution of the reduced scattering coefficient and the absorption coefficient at the same time. Furthermore, two different central frequency laser sources in near infrared region generate DPPDW in the multiple scattering medium independently and detected at the same time that are able to obtain the saturation of oxygenation (SaO2) and its variation in real time. Besides, an image of SaO2 is obtainable by scanning the multiple scattering medium in two-dimension.
