Summary:The invention is related to an electrical connector for connecting cable and PCB. The connector includes a housing, a number of terminals received in the housing, and a shielding member. The housing includes a main body having a plurality of slots therethrough, and a plate extending from the main body. The terminals include the first terminal and the second terminal, and either has contacting beam, holding beam, connecting beam, and strengthen beam. After assembled on the housing, the contacting beam of the first terminal and the contacting beam of the second terminal are attacked into opposite sides of the plate respectively, and the two strengthen beams extend reversely along the same horizontal line.
