Summary: | This invention relates to a signal detection method. It applies to a spread spectrum communication system for detecting a discrete-time signal. The method comprises the following procedures: (a). It receives the discrete-time signal. (b). It converts the discrete-time signal into a related signal. (c). It chooses a maximum and a minimum of the related signal. (d). It divides the maximum of the related signal by the minimum of the related signal to calculate a normal factor of the related signal. (e). It compares the normal factor with a preset threshold value. When the normal factor is greater than or equal to the threshold value, it indicates that there is a discrete-time signal being detected. While the normal factor is less than the threshold value, it indicates that there is not yet a discrete-time signal being detected. |
