Also described is oxygenated esters of 4-iodophenylamino acid of formula (III), wherein R1 is hydrogen or halogen and R5 is fluoro or chloro, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and its use in the treatment of a proliferative disease selected from the group consisting of cancer, restenosis, psoriasis, and atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain or neuropathic pain, and also pharmaceutical compositions containing thereof and its combination with a mitotic inhibitor or anti-cancer agent. Opísaný je oxygénovaný ester 4-jódfenylaminobenzhydroxámovej kyseliny všeobecného vzorca (III), kde R1 je vodík alebo halogén a R5 je fluór alebo chlór alebo jeho farmaceuticky prijateľná soľ a jeho použitie na liečenie proliferatívnej choroby zvolenej zo skupiny pozostávajúcej z rakoviny, restenózy, psoriázy a aterosklerózy, osteoartritídy, reumatoidnej artritídy, chronickej bolesti alebo neuropatickej bolesti, ako aj farmaceutická kompozícia s jeho obsahom a jeho kombinácia s mitotickým inhibítorom alebo protirakovinovým činidlom.
