Summary:The present invention relates to novel compounds of formula (I) which maintain, increase, or restore sensitivity of cells to therapeutic or prophylactic agents. This invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds. The compounds and pharmaceutical compositions of this invention are particularly well-suited for treatment of multi-drug resistant cells, for prevention of the development of multi-drug resistance and for use in multi-drug resistant cancer therapy. Deriváty kyseliny 1-(2-oxoacetyl)piperidín-2-karboxylovej všeobecného vzorca (I), ktoré udržiavajú, zvyšujú alebo obnovujú citlivosť buniek na terapeutické alebo profylaktické činidlá; farmaceutické prostriedky, ktoré tieto zlúčeniny obsahujú, a spôsob ich výroby. Uvedené zlúčeniny a farmaceutické prostriedky sú vhodné na liečbu, najmä ak sú bunky rezistentné proti viacerým liečivám, na prevenciu vzniku rezistencie proti viacerým liečivám a na použitie na liečenie rakoviny rezistentnej proti viacerým liečivám.ŕ
